A Word From Our Directors
Hi everyone!
As another year has come and gone, we are going to pick back up our newsletter. It will be sent out monthly, and we encourage you to share it with others.
Speaking of another year having flown by, the words of my grandfather (Rod Rutherford) ring in my ears, “the older you get, the faster time moves.” I never really thought much about that until these past couple of years. Boy, time sure does fly.
Here at the SAN, we’ve accomplished so much in these two short years of existence. We have got some 20+ individuals working together to make this network run the way that it does. 17 podcasts, a few videos and blogs here and there, and so many future ideas of things that we want to accomplish.
None of it could be accomplished with the blessings and grace of our great God in Heaven above, and all glory goes to Him (Matt. 5:16).
We also would not be here if it were not for the elders at the East Hill CofC (former overseeing eldership) and the elders at the Roanoke CofC (current overseeing eldership). Having an overseeing eldership has been a great blessing to both Michael and myself.
We also want to thank each of you as our listeners and supporters. Without you all, our network would not be where it is. With over 100,000 downloads, being listened to in every US state as well as over 100 different countries, we truly have been blessed. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
We have so many good things coming, and we are excited you are with us on this journey. May God be glorified, His people edified, and the world evangelized.
In His service and yours,
Caleb Rutherford & Michael Clarke
Co-Directors of the SAN
It’s High Time for Father Time
Let me take just a moment to tell you about the latest podcast premiering on the Scattered Abroad Network.
Join Scott Cain, Matt McBrayer, and myself as we begin a monthly podcast encouraging fathers to truly step up and be the spiritual leaders in their homes.
This first season we will be taking a look at the subject of Family Bible Time: how to get started, how not to become discouraged, tips and tricks that have helped each host, etc. We hope that this podcast will encourage Christian fathers to be the godly leader that He would have us to be.
Be on the lookout for our five-episode first season on the first day of each month, January to May of 2023!
